Kenneth Lavergne

Kenneth Lavergne

Kenneth's journey began in the vibrant city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but it was in the diverse streets of Houston, Texas, where he truly came into his own. As an honor student at Lamar High School, he laid the foundation for a future dedicated to excellence.

Venturing further, Kenneth pursued his higher education at the esteemed Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. There, amidst the hallowed halls of academia, he honed his skills in Finance, complemented by a minor in Economics, setting the stage for a career in the dynamic world of oil and gas upon his return to the Lone Star State.

Fueling his ambition, Kenneth later obtained his MBA from Texas Tech University, further enhancing his expertise and opening doors to new opportunities. But amidst the hustle of his professional pursuits, Kenneth remained steadfast in his commitment to the community.

Through mentoring, speaking engagements, and active involvement in school events, Kenneth witnessed firsthand the challenges facing today's youth. Moved by the plight of young minds ensnared by violence and despair, he resolved to make a difference.

From this resolve emerged IGNITE 180, a beacon of hope and transformation for America's youth. Rooted in Kenneth's unwavering passion, IGNITE 180 seeks to empower young individuals to defy the odds and chart their own path to success.

At the heart of Kenneth's mission lies a belief in the transformative power of education. Through IGNITE 180, he inspires youth to harness the same force that propelled him forward, instilling in them the belief that education is not merely a means to an end, but a gateway to endless possibilities.

Join Kenneth on his journey as he shares his experiences, insights, and unwavering commitment to seeing today's youth thrive. Together, let's ignite a spark of inspiration and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

"To influence a generation's commitment to personal success and civic engagement"

IGNITE 180 is designed to educate, encourage, and empower America's youth towards success. IGNITE 180 equips future generations with tools to build motivation and personal accountability despite their backgrounds. IGNITE 180 works to broadening the horizons of youth by exposing them to different ideas to aid them in becoming well rounded citizens. We then charge our participants to return to their community to uplift the generations both behind and in front of them.

FIVE Principles (Five Es of Excellence)

Educate our youth with the necessary knowledge and information to reach their personal and financial success.

Equip our youth with the proper tools and life skills needed to survive and succeed.

Encourage our youth to constructively remove themselves from harmful backgrounds and situations through mental determination and external planning.

Expose our youth to new ideas, different cultures, and professional careers that they may not know exist.

Empower our youth to create a tone that allows them to become active and positive role models and leaders.
